Adult Only Caravan Park With Fishing

If your looking for an adult only caravan park with fishing lake on site then take a look at us. Acorn Wood is a small friendly caravan and camping park in North Lincolnshire.

We have a heated facility block with 2 showerrooms and a pot was area.

All of our pitches have an alectric hookup and we include electric within the price. We also do not charge to bring your dog(s) with you and we dont charge for an awning.

Being on the edge of a pretty village of Burton Upon Stather that's just a short walk (8 -10 min) with pubs that do food, takeaways that deliver and shops to wander around like the old traditional sweet shop. There are many places of interest for you to visit such as Alkborough flats the nature reserve for excellent bird watching and photography, market towns like Brigg & Louth. Museums, country houses like Normanby Hall Country Park, Julians bower the ancient and mysterious turf maze that is believed to have appeared in the 17th century.

We are also on a bus route and the bus passes our gate and the bus stop is just few hundred yards walk along the road. The road is flat and pathed all the way into the village so safe to walk.

Fishing

Our fishing lake on site is for experienced anglers and everyone will require a rod license, our fishing lake is well-stocked with fish with the largest recorded by one of our guests in 2025 as an 18lb carp. The fishing is charged per person per day and is £5.

Fishing is from dawn to dusk and more information and fishing rules can be found on the fishing page

When you're done fishing for the day or if you dont fish you can relax at our social summerhouse, nestled beautifully alongside the lake.
The summerhouse features cosy sofas, books, tea, and coffee, plus a scenic decking area perfect for sitting, enjoying, and relaxing.
